Galapagos Baby
ORDER No 196
ABOUT: This design
if courtesy of a photo taken by my son-in-law on his trip to the
Galapagos Islands with several of my grandchildren. This baby booby
was hiding in some brush when they took the picture. These birds
fish by diving on their prey from great heights and pursuing it
underwater. They lay their eggs on bare cliffs in sketchy nests
by the sea. The name booby is descriptive not only of
the rather stupid facial expression but also of their unwary guillible
behavior when hunted by mana fact that accounts for their
diminishing numbers.
STITCHING INFORMATION: Stitch count: 78
stitches wide x 57 high.
Our model was stitched on an 12 x 10 piece of white
14-count AIDA fabric. This design can be adjusted to any type of
fabric. A large color photo, stitching instructions, computer generated
chart and floss numbers for your choice of DMC, Anchor & J&B
Coats are included.
